Carbon reduction reporting compliance for all NHS and Government suppliers
To support the UK's net-zero carbon goal by 2050, a new policy (Procurement Policy Note 06/21) requires all NHS and Government suppliers to adopt a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRPs) from April 2024. Suppliers must measure their carbon footprints, create reduction plans, and commit to net-zero. Contracts will only be awarded to those reporting on scope 1, 2, and a subset of scope 3 emissions with a credible CRP.
