The Humbo Assisted Natural Regeneration Project focuses on restoring indigenous tree species

The Project activities involve funding seven community cooperatives, which are in charge of project implementation and management. 195 jobs have been created as a result of the operation and management of the forestry Cooperatives, Union, and cooperative-run businesses. Training is also offered and undertaken by community groups, with 208 participants at the Carbon stock estimation/Monitoring session, 178 attending the training on Forest Management, and 276 attending a forest protection steering committee stakeholders review meeting.
